Black Rhino Creative's Red Chef Revival is a 6 x 22 minute food and travel series exploring modern Indigenous cuisine through the lens of three chefs. New York Times featured, Cezin Nottaway. Top Chef finalist, Rich Francis and Iron Chef finalist Shane Chartrand. Using food as their access point, the chefs discover a new path to reconciliation. Red Chef Revival features ingredients you won't find in any cookbooks like bison heart, beaver tail, moose nose and cougar. More than a cooking show, this is a people’s story on a plate.

In 2014, Daniel co-founded Black Rhino Creative, an award winning film production firm dedicated to sharing authentic, intimate and engaging short form documentaries for brands such as Leica Camera, Lululemon, ESPN, and Liz Arden. Most recently, he directed Red Chef Revival, a food and travel series exploring modern Indigenous cuisine. More than a cooking show, this is a people’s story on a plate. He began his career in 2004 in Montreal working in series children television for CBC. He moved into directing shortly after, creating content for mobile platforms and experimenting with interactive projections for live events working with Moment Factory
