Reappropriation

Reappropriation: Haunted by guilt and shadows of the past, a former Nazi guard spends decades in hiding, burdened by a secret he’s carried since the war. Beneath a carefully constructed new identity in postwar America, he is tormented not just by the atrocities he witnessed, but by one man in particular: A prisoner identified by the pink triangle in a concentration camp where he once served.
What the world never knew is that he had saved the prisoner from death more than once, and in doing so, fell silently in love with him.
Now decades later, he risks everything to track down the prisoner, who miraculously survived and rebuilt his life in anonymity. As he crosses borders and decades of silence, he hopes not for forgiveness, but for the chance to confess his truth, reveal his secret, and finally give voice to the love he was never allowed to name.
Reappropriation is a story of reckoning, identity, and the fragile human need for redemption in the face of unspeakable history.

Eddie James is a dynamic force in the entertainment industry, a multi-hyphenate Director, Actor, Recording Artist, Producer, and Filmmaker whose career spans Broadway stages, television screens, and international music charts. Hailing from the South Side of Chicago, Eddie rose to prominence during his 25-year tenure in New York City, where he became a staple of both Broadway and Off-Broadway theatre. He is a founding member of the acclaimed Core Artist Ensemble, known for its bold, actor-driven storytelling.
Now based in Los Angeles, Eddie is the founder and creative force behind Create Don’t Wait Films LLC — a fiercely independent production company committed to elevating underrepresented voices and untold stories in film and television.
Audiences may recognize Eddie from acclaimed series such as Modern Family, Insecure, Deadly Devotion, and A Crime to Remember. His film credits include Battle of the Sexes, Downsizing, and a wide slate of award-winning independent films from across the globe.
