Kai, a fourth grader, has always been the fastest in class—until the new girl, Kiki, outruns him in P.E. Determined to find out why he lost, Kai keeps challenging her in little contests, from paper notes to hallway races. Their playful rivalry slowly turns into a quiet friendship. When they finally race again, it no longer matters who wins—the joy of running together says it all.

四年級的阿凱一直是班上跑最快的人，直到體育課短跑測驗時，「最快」的頭銜被這學期剛轉來的新同學琪琪奪走。為了找出自己輸的原因，阿凱不斷找機會向琪琪挑戰。從紙條、側手翻到走廊上的小比賽，兩人一來一往的較勁，讓平時不太說話的琪琪，也漸漸多了笑容。阿凱決定不再為輸找藉口，開始認真練習，終於讓琪琪點頭答應再比一次。當兩人全力奔向終點時，不論結果如何，他們之間的友誼，已在操場上悄悄萌芽。

With a background in pharmacy and filmmaking, her works often begin with family and human connection, capturing subtle emotions. She believes cinema can reflect the self and others.

陳秋甫，國立台灣大學臨床藥學研究所畢業，後於台藝大電影所研習影像創作。作品多以家庭與親密關係為起點，捕捉情感流動與理解的瞬間。相信影像不僅能描繪他人，也能映照出自己。

Director Statement

Watching my nephew play, I saw how quickly joy turned into frustration when he lost, sometimes enough to make him quit. I made this film hoping children can feel that losing doesn’t define them—staying curious, trying again, and enjoying the moment matter far more.
我和姪子感情很好，陪伴他的成長過程中，發現他在玩遊戲或嘗試新事物時，都非常在意輸贏。輸了之後，可能會感到沮喪、生氣，甚至放棄，儘管過程中也有開心的時候。希望透過這個故事，讓孩子們明白輸贏並不是全部，沒有永遠的贏家或輸家，不輕易放棄，享受過程，還是可以從中感受到勝負以外的樂趣。
