Born in 1985, Ravindran Rajendran is a director and writer based in Malaysia. Much of his work in the last 6 years focused on several short films and movies. He directed two short films named Pathiyaa (2016) and Voice of My Eyes (2020).

He worked in SD Puvanendran’s film Maravan as Associate Director. It is a 2015 Tamil Malaysian thriller film, reigned over the first Malaysian Indian Cine Awards (MiCA) with 10 honors, including the most coveted ‘Best Film’ category. The film was written and directed by SD Puvanendran.

He again worked as Co-director and production design in the movie Aasaan (2017) Tamil language Malaysian thriller film. The film was directed by SD Puvanendran and that released nationwide under Nova Rimbun Sdn. Bhd production company.

He worked as Assistant Director for the movie Jhangri which was released in 2017. It was a Malaysian Tamil language romantic comedy film directed by Kabilan Plondran under Jhangri Productions.

His upcoming project is yet another movie with Director SD Puvanendran. He is one of the Assistant Director for the movie MoondramAthigharam (2020) under KalkiProduction Group.
