Amir Mohandesian was born in 1992. He has a Bachelor's degree in Directing for Theater. He started his career in 2011 by making several plays and performances of different playwrights until 2018 when he made his first short film called "Mataroud" which participated in international festivals. In 1399, he made his second short film called "Sahne" which received positive feedback in various international festivals.

He continued his success with his second short film, "Sahne," which won the Best Action Film award at the Discover London International Film Festival and received a special recognition from the jury at the Kautik International Film Festival in India. The film was also selected for various international festivals, including the Alta Marea International Film Festival in Italy, the Sunday Short Film Festival in Canada, the Sofia Menar International Film Festival in Bulgaria, the Ooty Short Film Festival in India, and the Ekurhuleni International Film Festival in South Africa.
Amir Mohandesian's third short film, "Rana," was selected for the Tehran International Short Film Festival. The film has started its global release.
