Director Biography - Chance Calloway

Chance Sion-Raize Calloway is the author of several novels and book series including "The Charismatic Chronicles" and "The Never Boy." He is a singer, a songwriter, a film producer, and an award-winning director of the hit series "Pretty Dudes." Calloway is a firm believer not only in quality inclusion and the importance of representation in media, but also in creating quality entertainment across all platforms. As a filmmaker, Calloway focuses on telling wide-reaching visual stories that can change the way people see themselves and the world around them.

Director Statement

"RAM (Like the Verb)" is a rotoscoped animated short, made with the considerable collaborative effort from Charlit Dae and the extended "Pretty Dudes" community after a series of hardships including a global pandemic prevented the completion of our second season. I'm grateful to Charlit for trusting that Ram's story could still be told in a different format.
