Rage Pill
On a reconciliation trip, Antony (Ton Prado) and Yasmin (Ale Luzon) depart from Colchani, Bolivia, heading toward San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. Aboard a 4x4 driven by the inexperienced guide Alex (Alphio Solar) and joined by three other travelers, the couple crosses the majestic Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt flat in the world, when unexpectedly, the gas runs out.
Lost in the desert without water, food, or internet, the group must fight for survival and face something far worse than the endless distances and extreme temperatures: Gringo (Felipe Osório), a serial killer driven by bloodlust.

Watching a film is like embarking on a journey. In RAGE PILL, we wanted to recreate that feeling of backpacking — a crossing full of discoveries, risks, and unexpected encounters.
We chose a naturalistic approach, with natural light and vintage lenses, evoking a documentary aesthetic in a nostalgic and raw atmosphere. Filmed in the Salar de Uyuni, in collaboration with native Bolivian producers, the film unites the grandeur of the landscapes with the cultural authenticity of the region. It is a minimalist road movie with a grindhouse spirit: few locations, six distinct characters, and personalities reflecting diverse worldviews. Inspired by Tarantino, Danny Boyle, and Robert Rodriguez, we balanced exploitation energy with indie intimacy.
At its core, RAGE PILL speaks about our times: the excess of polarized debates and extreme ideologies. We transported these clashes into a survival story in the desert, with sarcastic humor and comic tone, inviting the audience to laugh at our own human contradictions.
