Este proyecto surgió de manera inesperada, luego de que un amigo me comentara sobre una oportunidad para utilizar un paquete de iluminación que tenía disponible. A partir de ahí, escribí el guión con la intención de mantenerlo lo más simple posible: una sola locación, pocos personajes y un enfoque en utilizar la iluminación de forma creativa para apoyar la atmósfera de la historia.

Como apasionado de la ciencia ficción, me atrajo la idea de incorporar un elemento relacionado con el fin del mundo, pero con un enfoque íntimo. Quise reflejar cómo el final de una relación puede sentirse tan apocalíptico como el fin literal del mundo. La combinación de ambos temas me permitió explorar emociones humanas profundas en un contexto fantástico, con recursos limitados pero con mucha intención.

This project came about unexpectedly, after a friend told me about an opportunity to use a lighting package he had available. From there, I wrote the script aiming to keep it as simple as possible: one location, a few characters, and a focus on using lighting creatively to support the story’s atmosphere.

As someone passionate about science fiction, I was drawn to the idea of including an element related to the end of the world — but from an intimate perspective. I wanted to show how the end of a relationship can feel just as apocalyptic as the literal end of the world. Blending both themes allowed me to explore deep human emotions within a fantastical context, using limited resources but with strong intention.
