CoTtOn RaT
Cinematographic letter born from a conversation with a Mexican immigrant. Where she relates that on the first journey she had in the desert to cross the mexican border into the United States of America, she did not know if he was having nightmares or if she was awake... since she saw cottons and rats getting fuse with his memory.

One day we were in a park, when a Mexican migrant sat on the same bench where we were and told us about his experiences crossing the desert to reach the United States of America. She told us that when he lived that experience at times she did not know if he was awake or asleep.
This encounter provoked the need to explore cinematically his experience with rats and cottons candy (stuffed), with the dreams, wakefulness and nightmares of the migrant as the driving axis.
No animals were hurt during the making of this film, a stuffed rat was used.
