RUSH CALL CLOWN

Rush Call Clown is a New York film examining the raw microcosm of one man’s life after a celebrity’s social media post portrays the man's professional image as scary and violent.

The film is inspired by an real life event that happened to the lead actor Olan Montgomery when a social media post of of him dressed as a clown was posted on social media by comedian Jim Gaffian who had asked to actor pose for a picture with him and then requested he pretend choke him. The famed comedian then posted the photo on social media with the tag line, "Have sweet dreams tonight." Comments to the post ranged from calling the actor's clown self "John Wayne Gacey" to suggesting he had a "clown car full of porn and smokes". First time director and writer Olan Montgomery inspired by the repercussions of this celebrities social media post wrote Rush Call Clown with one question in mind: "What if a celebrity did this to someone whose life and livelihood depended being a clown?"

Director Biography - Olan Montgomery

Olan Montgomery is an identical twin and actor known for his work on The Blacklist, Green Dolphin. Ham Heads, Alterscape, Haymaker, Appropriate Behavior and Boardwalk Empire.

His first film Rush Call Clown won the judges award in London's Discover Film Festival. Silence Equals the 2nd film written, directed, produced and starring Olan won several awards for social awareness. Olan recently finished his 3rd film Toggle set in a dystopian future where people are given incentives to alter their own bad behavior. AL & OLLIE is Olan's 4th short film shot entirely on his iPhone 6.
