RELÂMPADA

"RELÂMPADA", like most of Arthur Caria's works, are named by himself "One-Shot-Video-Poems": videographic chronicles filmed in a single shot.

Since 2011, Arthur Caria has been building an extensive and well-received production in experimental authorial cinematography, promoted through his initiatives CLIPOEMS, focusing on video-poetic chronicles and short films.

Two of his experimental videos ("Building" and "Unheimlch") received praise in reviews by the renowned French critic of Contemporary Contemplative Cinema Benoit Roully, through his blog Unspoken Cinema. Another of his videos, Pomb, received an “Honorable Mention” in 2017 at the Desvairada Video-Poetry Festival in São Paulo-SP. Arthur Caria conducts independent research on artistic amateur cinematography and has articles, e-books, resources and educational videos on the arts of amateur film.
