Struck by a sudden and severe illness, the girl succumbs despite the doctors' efforts to save her. Director Biography - A PRAKASH

A PRAKASH – Director/Composer/Editor
I have been in the film and music industry since 2002, working with various performers and exploring diverse genres. In 2022, I founded KSPK PRODUCTIONS to pursue filmmaking, ANIMATE STUDIOS AV to craft video productions and provide BGM and foley, and DARKSTAR MUSIC GROUP to publish my music works.
My directorial journey began in 2023 with Thamizhan, a hip-hop music video. In 2024, I experimented with AI tools for the first time in Intro, sparking a passion for blending technology and creativity. This exploration led to the creation of Mogaasalai (2025), the first Tamil music video entirely generated by AI, where I composed the music and my wife, Kodthay, performed and wrote the lyrics.
Pushing boundaries further, I created En Anbe A.I, the first fully AI-generated Tamil music video, followed by Selamanya A.I, the first in Malay. These milestones gave me the confidence to direct Dreams and Raja Kumari ,my first Tamil AI short film, blending storytelling with cutting-edge AI technology.
For me, AI tools have unlocked a limitless creative playground, allowing me to craft worlds and narratives exactly as I envision them, all while making filmmaking more accessible and cost-effective. My journey is about embracing new technologies to tell unique stories.

Director Statement

Raja Kumari is a deeply personal and emotionally charged short film born from a place of love, loss, and remembrance. As a filmmaker exploring the power of AI in storytelling, I wanted to push beyond visuals and technology to reach something truly human—grief. This film is a tribute to every parent who has faced the unimaginable pain of losing a child.

Through the story of a young girl who succumbs to illness, I aimed to capture not only the sorrow but also the silent strength of those left behind. The use of AI helped me shape delicate expressions and atmospheres that echo the internal world of a grieving family subtle, haunting, and real.

With Raja Kumari, I hope to show that AI, when used with intention and heart, can tell stories that are not only visually compelling but also emotionally authentic. This film is my offering to every soul who has known loss and a reminder that love remains, even when those we cherish are gone.
