Director Biography - Yuanhao Zhang

Yuanhao Zhang is a Chinese Cinematographer based in New York. His credits as director of photography include the short films Rachel de Neverland (2022), Lucy (2019), and Zero Stage (2022); The commercials for Infiniti Motor Company, EP YAYING, and Steve Rocks. He is a graduate of the New York Film Academy's Filmmaking Conservatory, and currently enrolled in the Cinematography Conservatory program.

Director Statement

Lonely people tend to have a richer inner world. In contemporary society, interpersonal skills have never been more important. However, for kids who were born in the 21st century, they are in an era where everything could go "online". Some believe it's changing the way how people live, others claim it's not as beautiful as it looks like. 'Rachel de Neverland' will be a film that's based around these conflicts. And discusses social media from an introvert's perspective.
