He now wanders through iconic Singapore landmarks transformed by time and devastation, burdened by guilt and sorrow for not having noticed her struggles when she was alive. As memories and reality blur, the two are finally reunited in a mystical otherworld where forgiveness, remembrance, and quiet love transcend life and death. Framed by soft, ethereal visuals and cinematic renderings of Singapore’s landscapes—from Gardens by the Bay to Sultan Mosque, now overtaken by nature and mystery—the film speaks to grief, regret, and the enduring power of connection even in a broken world.
