Director Biography - Anna lu Machado

As a show runner, Anna participate actively in many projects. She graduated in Cinema at PUC-Rio in 2014. One year before, she participated in a six months’ exchange program in UAM – Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Where she developed studies in arts and creative writing. In the last year she was selected to integrate the current generation of the regular course at EICTV as a screenwriter.
Her experience in the audiovisual area goes through script, production, direction, post-production, promotional and distribution. In her last job she was responsible of the distribution of the documentary Danado de Bom (2017), a film by Deby Brennand, which was a regional success.
Anna has also experience in executive production gained while she worked as a producer in a trailers company during three years. She has already won some funds in the Brazilian public cultural system.
Currently she is working on several projects that intend to promote culture exchanges between her country and the world.
