Quietus of Man

After the mysterious death of his wife, a man returns to confront the old, Japanese fortuneteller who predicted their deaths. He struggles to understand why he is still alive and what he must do to defy his fate.

QUIETUS OF MAN is a melancholic story of fate and fortuitousness, whether to accept or reject the cards life deals us, and what people are capable of when they do.

Director Biography - FRANK RICE JR.

Born and raised in Chicago, IL., Frank joined the Navy straight out high school. This US Navy veteran now works in the US and Japanese film industry and has created visual and cinematic works in the music video and commercial genres. He has worked with Billboard charting pop artist, Miz Mandy, Sony Music/JMD Records' artist Jet Set Go, and many more. At the helm of his first short form film, "JUNCTURE," Frank's episodic pilot would go on to win "Best Short Film" and "Best Drama" at the Harvest Film Festival 2022 in Tokyo, Japan and "Official Selection" at the San Diego Black Film Festival and San Diego Film Awards 2022.
