Director Biography - Jeffrey Elizabeth Copeland

Jeffrey Elizabeth Copeland is a comedy writer, documentary producer, and as of late, homemade hand sanitizer enthusiast. Thanks, Corona! You're probably wondering about her name, but more on that later...

Jeffrey has years field producing talk and comedy series for The Food Network, Lifetime, and Refinery 29. She’s also produced hosted content for Bleacher Report and Shark Week – and no, she’s never saw a live shark.

Jeffrey recently wrapped as a post producer for the new Netflix series, We Are: The Brooklyn Saints; working there was all Netflix, no chill. Currently, she works as a post producer for the upcoming HBO film, Phoenix – she can’t say much about the project, but it’s juicy!

As a comedian, Jeffrey’s served as a writer for the UCB Maude Night sketch team, Grown Ass Women, UCBNY’s first (and only) all-female sketch team. Additionally, she served as a writer-performer for the house sketch team Road Pizza at The People’s Improv Theatre.

Jeffrey is also a recipient of the 2021 Saturday Night Live/PIT scholarship, and hopes to one day break even on all the money she’s blown taking improv classes.

P.S.
- Jeffrey is named after her uncle, Jeffrey Jerome Copeland. All things considered, her name could have been a lot worse.
