Punchline
Eeland Stribling is many things: fly fisherman, wildlife biologist, Colorado native - but most notably, he is an avid stand-up comedian. Born and raised in Colorado, Eeland is doing his part by exposing the outdoors world to those who have historically not grown up with it. As a man of color himself, he is redefining what it means to be an outdoorsman in America - but more importantly, an advocate for preserving the world's natural wonders.

KAARE: Award Winning Director & Photographer based in San Francisco, Kaare Iverson is a Canadian-born director & photographer based in San Francisco, California. Kaare was named after a boat that was named after a boat, and all three of them pronounce our name "kori". Growing up in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest inspired an intimate relationship with nature which is a theme he now explores through film and photography. He is proud to say that his work in both still and video has been recognized by multiple awards.
He was taught that you simply can’t force things - that life has a way of refining you into what you are innately built to do. In this life Kaare has tried to be a little bit of everything; teacher, chef, web-designer, climber-bum, writer, etc... But he has always had the storytelling power of photography there with him, pulling at his sleeve, directing him through it all. He is, innately, a photographer.
Punchline is a documentary film about Eeland Stribling's journey. Rather than focusing on the doom and gloom which floods our media channels - telling us we are destined to fail, the film follows Eeland through the bumpy process of developing a comedy set focused on climate change. Between sets we get one-on-one time with Eeland, learning how just by sharing in positive outdoor experiences, individuals can leave hopeful and be motivated to act as advocates, stewards, and voters.
Punchline is climate action done differently: a unique mix of comedy, stewardship, and environmentalism - hooking the next generation of caretakers of our planet.
