Director Statement

We chose to direct this film because it addresses a global issue of climate change includes both the global warming caused by humans, and its impacts on Earth's weather patterns, through a local folk culture narrative. While watching this film, we wanted the viewers to experience the local culture of northern part of Kerala (a state of India) along with the global issue of climate change.

Working with the actors, actresses and crew members of this movie was special to us because all of them were part of the First Clap organization which gave us the opportunity to learn film making and also produced this film. We had some delays creating this film because of the financial constraints as it was fully backed by crowd funding. However we were fortunate to raise the funds and complete the film entirely through crowd funding.

The experience working on this film will help us with our future projects.
