Protect The Law of Humanity

Our project is a peace-themed film produced against the cruel massacre that took place in New Zealand. Here, the clash of the pen, which is a symbol of peace and coexistence, and the agreements signed with that pen against the gun of the murderer, which has become a symbol of violence, is depicted. The main message of protecting the Law as the only support that allows people to live together, connects them and protects them is tried to be given.

Director Statement

“In order not to encounter such tragedies again, individuals have duties as much as states. Painters should speak with their paintings, musicians with their music, writers with their books. I tried to express my feelings by designing a film. Much more needs to be done. We should have our own original answers to the questions and problems posed to us. We are not objects dragged by events, but the real subjects of the world. With this vision, we started preparations immediately on the evening of the day the event took place and tried to prepare an inspiring film. While preparing the film, we tried to emphasize the fact that we all need the law and that it would be impossible to live together if we did not protect it. Because throughout history, wherever there was no law or it was not applied, oppression occurred and oppressors took the initiative. Therefore, we included the names of documents that symbolize the foundations of the law of living together, such as the Medina Constitution, Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence and the Declaration of Human Rights in the film. I believe that a legal system that can be applied equally and fairly to everyone everywhere in the world is necessary for a beautiful future. In this direction, we tried to do our part to support this idea. Because taking initiative is the right and duty of every person. This is a duty that falls on every person who believes in the supremacy of law.”
