Upon overhearing her teen daughters recount their dating experiences while getting ready on prom night, Judy accidentally drugs herself with Chinese herbal medicine spiraling her into a gaudy sexual fantasy with the class hunk.

Jessica Liu is a writer and director with two BAs in Film & Digital Media and Feminist Studies - Culture, Power, Representation, at UC Santa Cruz. Since graduating she has served as one of ten student delegates chosen nationally, at the 29th annual San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival, worked as a producer for the award-winning documentary “Dharavi Diary” (Cinequest, National Geographic All Roads , Epidemic Film Fest, etc) , edited a video for TECHSF which broadcasted on ABC Channel 7′s “Beyond the Headlines”.
Her debut short film, "Memory Blocks", which she directed and wrote while studying abroad in Singapore, selected at the San Diego Asian Film Festival. Next she wrote and directed "oRaNgEdReAmS", a coming of age story set in the early 2000s. It premiered at the 20th Dances with Films Festival at the TLC Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd in Los Angeles, was selected by the New Media Film Festival and screened for Los Angeles Parks and Recreation’s initiative, Girls Play LA to benefit underserved girls, at the Silver Lake Picture Show.
Currently, she is finishing her next film, “Prom Time!”, a magical realism film revolving around cross-generational desire. She is a member of the Alliance of Women Directors.
