Pride (ft. Lady Londyn & Blxck Cxsper)
Two artist friends call each other by visio and share their ideas about identity. Lady Londyn, a 'trans woman' singer calls from her loft in Los Angeles and Blxck Cxsper, a non-binary artist, from Montreal. They talk about being proud of who they are, no matter what the trials. Transition is part of every person's growth. Lady Londyn is able to help Blxck Cxsper come out of the shadows and be who they truly chooses to be despite the difficulties they face.

Inspired by the urban culture of the 80s and 90s and the queer world, Amandine Navarro is an artist, videographer and director devoted to visual expression. Her strength is the conceptual idea of a production and she works in a global continuity to the purpose. She produces audiovisual content (video clip, fashion video, promotional video...) in the fields of music, fashion and advertising.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in France and taught this discipline to young students for three years. She emigrates to Quebec in 2010 where she studies marketing and graphic design. Afterwards, she took courses in film theory and technics, which allowed her to work as a freelance director/videographer.
Bringing together performers from various professional backgrounds (actors, models, artists) or not, around a single criterion - the search for emotion - is a facet of her work that she particularly enjoys. She also attaches great importance to the framing and rhythm of the image through editing.
She likes to surround herself with an authentic and passionate team, aboard the same boat, conquering dreams.
This video is made to support trans people in Quebec and the entire LGBTQ+ community during this difficult time of pandemic. Everyone is isolated and alone with their own anxieties. Blxck Cxsper is questioning and suffering from what may have happened to him in the the past. They is in transition. They decides to become himself, with all the difficulties that this implies, encouraged by his friend Lady Londyn. She is alone and her confidence makes her sunny. She acts here as a driving force for him. So we have two opposing energies which, by mixing, come to a positive to a positive result. Thus the spectator has the possibility to identify with one of the characters. Whether it is as a trans person in society but also as a human being in a situation of global pandemic. The refrain "You won't take my pride" offers a double meaning between: "you you won't take my pride, of being who I am" and "you won't take away our way of coming together" (gay pride). Like Blxck Cxsper we can live through the pain, give yourself the time in between to have the strength to become a hero. This video is a great cry of hope and strength to encourage individuals to embody their deepest being.
