Director Biography - Ahmet Bilgin

Ahmet Bilgin
Ahmet Bilgin was born in Turkey in 1969. He began his amateur theater work in Istanbul in 1986. Since 1989, he has continued his theater activities in Ankara. He wrote the plays “Sevimli Palyaçolar” (Cute Clowns), “Prens Hima” (Prince Hima), and “Şeyh Bedreddin” (Sheikh Bedreddin). He acted in the films “Alija”, “Son Çıkış” (Last Exit), “Âşık” (Lover), “Yolculuk” (Journey), “Yuva” (Home), “Osmanlı Tokadı” (Ottoman Slap), “Geriye Kalan” (What Remains), “Hasret” (Longing), “Kutsal Damacana Dracoola”, “Son Osmanlı Yandım Ali” (The Last Ottoman: Knockout Ali), and “Abdülhamit Düşerken” (The Fall of Abdulhamid). He wrote the screenplay for and produced the film “Incite”. He has also acted in many TV series. In 2022, he moved to Canada. He continues to make films and act.
