Director Statement

When I came across this script, the story truly touched me and I wanted to explore the destruction of one's self amongst the feeling of grief.

For grief is something we'll all experience at some point within our lives and the way we handle grief dictates on how we move forward.

I remember when the writer told me the original ending and I asked him to keep the ending that is presented within the film. This is because I wanted to highlight the idea of hope, and allow the audience to understand that no matter the hardships we face in life, we can move forward and we can continue to live even if the people we lost are no longer with us.
