Praga
A clock for the old man, a stick for the young actor, a mirror for the beautiful princess. So come alive the characters of the first music video by Chiara White, taken from the debut album "Biancoinasoltato", and directed by Gianmarco D'Agostino. The young songwriter invites the heroes of her child dreams to an afternoon party, made by tea and cookies, games and reflections. Life, beauty, death. And the inevitable final revelation.

I was born in Arezzo in 1977 and graduated in Cinema History and Critics at the University of Florence where I live and work.
Since 2001 I wrote, produced and directed several short films, documentaries and communication campaigns, commissioned by public institutions and bank foundations.
"La Fuga", a short written with the novelist Marco Vichi, was screened in the exhibition "Viaggio a Nord-Ovest" (Castello dell’Acciaiolo, Florence), which was visited by more than 10.000 people in two months.
I directed four art documentaries hosted by Antonio Paolucci, director of the Vatican Museums, among which "Il Tempo di Michelangelo", dedicated to the Sistine Chapel in Rome and the Medici family chapels in San Lorenzo Church in Florence.
Interested in the social issues, I have worked for a year in the jails of Florence and Ferrara with some prisoners that became the main characters of the documentary "Oggi voglio parlare".
For the documentary project "Florence, the Consul and Me", I was admitted to Archidoc a documentary workshop run by La fémis (Paris), sponsored by the MEDIA Programme, and selected to the pitching forums: Verzio DocLab (Budapest), Italian DocScreenings (Florence) and When East Meets West (Trieste). I was also selected to the Dragon Forum workshop in Krakow. The film is in the last stage of development.
Researches for this film have brought me in Israel, where I directed the video-art elements used to stage "Don Giovanni" by Mozart, for the Jerusalem Opera in October 2013.
In 2015 I produced and directed 12 documentaries exhibited in the new Grande Museo del Duomo in Florence, curated by Mons. Timothy Verdon.
My latest film is "Camminando sull'acqua" (Walking on Water), a 52' documentary about the flood of 1966 in Florence through the eyes, the camera and the creativity of Beppe Fantacci, who helped the worldwide famous artisans of Florence to survive the devastation of the city.
"Praga" by Chiara White is my first music video.
