Pooja Singh is an advocate and Co-Founder/ Senior Partner of a New Delhi based premiere law firm. She is also a Multiple award-winning filmmaker of internationally acclaimed short films; based on themes like women emancipation, child trafficking, quarantine challenges during covid lockdowns which are streaming on various OTT platforms viz. Disney+Hotstar, Zee5, MX Player, Hungama Play, Airtel Xtreme.
She is the PRESIDENT, WICCI DELHI FILM COUNCIL (Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI) is a premier National Business Chamber for Women envisioning Global Impact for Women Entrepreneurs, Businesswomen and Professionals from all walks of life).
She is an LL.B, LL.M (IPR) apart from holding Bachelor's degree in English (Hons.) and a certificate in French Language, Alliance Françoise, New Delhi.
With more than 16 years of experience in Banking law, Film Consultancy, Film Festivals Consultancy, Intellectual Property Rights and Media & Entertainment matters as well as a PoSH Trainer & Consultant; she had attended the INTA’s Annual Meetings in 2010, 2011 and 2015 at Boston, San Francisco and San Diego respectively as senior IPR Attorney. INTA’s Annual Meeting is the largest and most prestigious meeting of the international trademark community. Held each May, the Annual Meeting hosts more than 10,000 participants from more than 130 countries for five days.
To hone her filmmaking skills, she attended Filmmaking workshop from Barry John Acting Studio, New Delhi. She also did a few workshops/courses viz. “Film Appreciation”, “Song Appreciation” and “Screenplay Writing” from Film and Television Institute of India (FTII/SKIFT), Pune; “Sound in Cinema course” from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata; “Theatre Acting” “from Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts, New Delhi. She had also presented a few programmes on All India Radio (Yuv Vani) like “In the Groove” and edited college magazine for 3 years as a Chief Student Editor. She is an avid reader, traveler and a Cinephile. She is a Member of Supreme Court Bar Association, Delhi High Court Bar Association and a member of SWA (Screenwriter’s Association, Mumbai).
