Irena Shpak is a young artist aiming to put her own style into the medium of animation and film. Influenced by digital illustration and the New Hollywood era, she creates unique characters that have to face relatable situations, presented in a metaphorical way.

Director Statement

This animated short was a very important learning opportunity for me, it taught me what my workflow is, and that creating an animated story is really fulfilling, and that it's something I should continue to do in the future, even as just a personal hobby. This short features characters from my webcomic, Big Fat Heavy Hairy Heart. This serves as a glimpse into their world and their personality once they got together.
