Director Statement

Pocha knew this film would be made. I promised her. But she didn't live to see it. Twenty years have passed since that promise, and this film is, finally, its fulfilment. Returning to the same community, the same faces, the same unfinished struggle, I understood that memory, when it takes the form of music, refuses to die.
