A filmmaker since childhood, Keil's movies combine humor, horror, and tricksterism to antagonize systems of power and activate audiences. He has been a core member of notorious culture-jamming group The Yes Men for over a decade. He co-directed "Total Disaster" (2022) which had a 50+ festival run, won the David Imoh Sunday Social Justice Prize and took awards at Kursaal San Sebastien, JustFilm, Better World, and Cine Eco Seia. He produced and co-wrote "Peace Pipeline," which won Best Documentary at Dallas VideoFest, ND Human Rights FF, Wolf Tree, Skoden, Jim Thorpe, Fort Smith, Hell’s Half Mile, Fresh Coast, Earth Futures, and American Conservation Film Fest. He directed corporate-horror feature "Human Resources," and "I Was a Teenage Horror Movie!" which remixes VHS footage from childhood into an experimental comedy. He has worked for over a decade as a screenplay ghostwriter, editor, and story analyst, and won a NYFA Fellowship in Screenwriting-Playwriting. His screenplay "Aphids" won Best Overall, Best Drama, and Best Concept awards at Screenplay Summit 2022.
