My name is Tim Eather, I grew up on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia.
I have been making films for the past three years and graduated with a Bachelor of Creative Arts in Film from JMC Academy in South Melbourne.
I create films that are a mix of everything you have seen blended with everything you haven’t. Predictability is boring, at least for me and most people we know. My attention span is as short as the rest of the world, however when there is an idea at hand I like to slow down and imagine it from all angles as it develops. It’s a pretty amazing thing to see something that sounds controlled and processed in its production and in its theory become a living and breathing thing before you. The nature of filmmaking can appear unpredictable and that in itself is what I find beautiful in the work I do.
Creature Fear's music and live show is like drinking in a 1950's diner while watching a volcano that explodes out electric tigers. It's mind-blowing. So I had to create a Music video with that in mind. The 'Please Me' video is a collection of throwbacks from the last couple of decades, by loading the visuals with classic nostalgic scenes it reflects the style of music being played. From Play School to The Shining, this music video is a joyride through time itself.
