Director Biography - Rozway Regmi

Born and raised in Kathmandu, Rozway is an up and coming writer/director. Currently based in Philadelphia, he is in post-production for his first feature 'Ek Nagari'. Previously credited for 'Pitri' (2025), 'Plain Sailing Weather' (2024) and 'Hiraeth' (2023), Rozway is a Film & TV Production alumn from Drexel University. His work spans genres and centers on deeply personal storytelling.

Director Statement

'Pitri' is a story based on folk myths and tales from Nepal. Pieced together from fragments of stories heard from family and friends, 'Pitri' is not a specific re-telling but rather captures the mood of these stories. The film is an exploration of memories and beliefs shaping our identity.
