Biography

Milutin Filipović is a film and television director, born in 1997 in Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia. He is a final-year student of Film and TV Directing at the Academy of Arts in Belgrade. His most recent short fiction film, Pit Stop (2025), won the Remi Award at WorldFest Houston, the oldest independent film festival in the United States, known for launching the careers of directors such as Steven Spielberg, John Lee Hancock, and Ang Lee. The film is also set to screen at this year’s Festival de Cannes, as part of the Short Film Corner – Marché du Film program.
