Pirandello
The film is about 8 year old boy named Pirandello, who lives with his father, railway worker, in a small cottage next to the railroad. The boy observes life and people who are passing by every day and who have been part of his father's life in one way or another. Through this exploration he finds his own past, his identity and his future path.
There is a fatal woman involved as well. She has been away for eight year as is now coming back to town by train.

Born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on July 25, 1967.
Studied at and graduated from the Ljubljana Film Academy AGRFTV. Since then he has been working as an independent film producer and director. He has made sixty documentaries. He has also directed five short fictional films and two feature films , first one Piranedello – with cinematographer Georgij Rerberg as his DP. Rerberg is known for his work as the DP on Andrei Tarkovsky´s masterpieces such as The Mirror (1974) and Stalker (1979).
For his work he has received many international awards.
This was the last film of Georgy Rerberg, the famous Russian cinematographer, filmed in Slovenia in 1998 in the Karst region. Rerberg is renowned for: The Mirror (1975), Stalker (1979), A Nest of Gentry (1969), Uncle Vanya (1970), Melodies of a White Night (1976), Time for Rest from Saturday to Monday (1984)
Rerberg's notable portfolio of two dozen films includes works with world-renowned Russian film directors Andrei Konchalovsky, Andrei Tarkovsky, Igor Talankin, Sergei Solovyov, Ivan Dykhovichny, Abderrahmane Sissako and others.
