Director Biography - Anargha Pal, Debargha Maschatak

As a filmmaker, cinematographer and editor, Anargha Pal has crafted feature films and critically acclaimed short films that have garnered accolades at international competitions and festivals. In the feature film, Dispersion starring Rwitobroto Mukherjee, Shantilal Mukherjee and Barun Chanda, he co-produced with Slamdance Film Festival founder, Dan Mirvish, SRFTI Alumni Ashim S. Paul and Amit Agarwal, the producer of M.S. Dhoni and Raahgir. He is also working on other upcoming films with the likes of Adarsh Telemedia and Reliance Entertainment and he is also the Creative Head and decision-maker at the esteemed IIT Madras Film Society and IndieRise Digital LLP.

Debargha Maschatak is a Kolkata-based filmmaker celebrated for his innovative storytelling and technical expertise. Best known for his work as a Writer on Dispersion , Director of The Grandfather Paradox , and AI VFX Artist on Dominic and the Ladies' Purse , he has earned critical acclaim and international recognition. His films have been showcased at prestigious festivals worldwide, receiving numerous awards for their creativity and craftsmanship. Debargha has collaborated with acclaimed industry professionals, including executive producer Dan Mirvish and actors Rwitobroto Mukherjee, Shantilal Mukherjee, and Barun Chandra. A pioneer in AI-driven visual effects, he seamlessly blends technology with artistry, setting new standards in modern filmmaking.
