David Gascon is an actor, writer, and producer making his mark on both sides of the camera. A graduate of Northeastern University and San Diego State University, Gascon built himself a versatile career in sports media, logging play-by-play, hosting, and anchoring credits across FOX Sports, ESPN, CBS Sports, Paramount+, and Apple TV, while also serving as a national on-air talent for FOX Sports Radio and iHeartMedia. His voice work spans commercial voiceovers and audiobooks, and his broadcasting footprint stretches from college arenas to international tournaments on the world stage.
A Los Angeles native, Gascon is stepping into a new arena. He wrote, produced, and stars in Peripheral Lies, a neo-noir financial conspiracy thriller in which he plays Wyatt Capiano, a hedge fund manager whose life begins to unravel when his wife falls into a mysterious coma following a suspicious car accident. Equal parts calculated and desperate, Capiano is a character built for the grey zone, and Gascon brings to the role the same instincts for pressure and performance that defined his broadcasting career.
His acting credits include FX's American Crime Story: Impeachment (directed by Ryan Murphy), Dead Body, and several independent features.
Peripheral Lies marks Gascon's debut as a writer, director, and producer, a pivot that signals the next chapter of a career built on refusing to stay in one lane.
I wrote Peripheral Lies because even the strongest relationships aren't free of blindspots. Wyatt, Thomas, and Mikey are all masters of their craft, but when their lives become intertwined, their moral high ground is compromised. This story is centered around one woman, incapacitated and vulnerable, but the key to unlocking the entire puzzle.
