Director Biography - Lou Blackmon

Owner and founder of OddOneOut Productions, Lou started his career in the film industry in 2010 in Atlanta. He has steadily worked as a freelance Director, producer and cinematographer. He has also demonstrated his versatility as a rising filmmaker in shooting and producing feature and short films, documentaries, music videos, commercials and branded content for Nike, HBO, NBC Peacock, General Motors, R/GA and Global Citizen.

His feature film "Maggie" won Best Feature at the 2023 Sugar Loaf Film Festival and his short film "Call the Sandman" was awarded the "Star Award" (a special jury prize) at the 2020 Blue Planet SciFi Film Festival and is currently on DUST on Youtube by Gunpowder & Sky.

Lou currently divides his time working in New York and Atlanta.
