Director Biography - Valé Valentão

Valentino Lourina Salimo, known artistically as Valé Valentão, is a Mozambican artist whose career combines music and cultural activism.
Since 2012, he has stood out as a composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer, exploring the fusion of rhythms and narratives. His career includes notable moments, such as the cultural exchange in Norway, where he collaborated with musicians from different continents, and his participation in the Guri Project in Brazil, playing original music and teaching Mozambican rhythms to young and old.
In 2022, his song We Can Restore was selected for the official World Rainforest Day playlist, earning him the Green Award. As a lover and enthusiast of the seventh art, he directed and produced his first short film Entre Risos e Riscos, reaffirming his passion for telling authentic and socially relevant stories.
