Director Statement

When I began writing this film, I had a very clear idea of who was the "bad guy." However, when moving through the process of editing and production, I realized that the answer of who was the "bad guy" was much more complicated than I first believed it to be. This film ultimately reflects the reality of human relationships: There's not always a bad guy. Sometimes the blame falls on everyone, and sometimes no one at all. That's what I believe is so beautiful about this film, is that it recognizes the complex nuance of perspective.
