Director Biography - Hanyu Hu

Hanyu Hu is an indie director, illustrator， and podcaster. He graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a BFA in digital art and California College of the Arts with an MFA in film. His film, Lost In Shanghai, won the 2023 HiShorts Film Festival's Best Progress Award. It received a great reaction from young audiences for its insightful observations on youth culture.
