Director Biography - Sara Sulej

I'm from Poland, living in Galway, Ireland.
I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland on a stage design course in 2020 and finished the GRETB Media Production course in Spiddal, Ireland in 2023.
I have experience working in theaters - Theater of K. Dejmek in Łódź, Theater of C.K. Norwid in Jelaenia Góra or Powszechny Theater in Warsaw. On sets for music videos, shorts, and features, as a set designer, make-up artist, costume designer, camera assistant, clapper, and AD.
I worked on a set of "The Young Offenders" in Cork and "Anfa" in Galway.
I directed three movies.
My first short "Queer Day" premiered on First-Time Filmmaker Session in August 2023.
In 2023 I finished my other two projects. Short "Good Craic" and documentary "Patchwork Family" about the band Galway Street Club in cooperation with Brave Boy Studio.
