Bryce Adam Brown is a young writer, actor, and director based in Los Angeles. He was born in Houston, Texas and has loved the arts from an early age. As a child, he participated in many theater shows in his elementary/middle school and his talents continue to develop. In those plays, Bryce helped direct and write a lot of the content performed. Years later, he is appearing in tons of well-known shows/films, writing his own projects, and directing-- all at just eighteen-years-old.
While writing Party Animal (2024), my goal was to stop thinking so ‘deeply’ and just write something fun for once: something audiences will look back on as a nostalgic, digestible, and entertaining piece of work made by people who had a blast creating it. Woven within that, I wanted to tell a story led by individuals we don’t often see in primary roles on our screens. Party Animal (2024) follows a Black tech-savvy thrill seeker, an Asian-American dreamer, and a nonbinary goofball. This is what we need more of in film: representation for all, in a way that isn’t just focused on trauma; A fun, inclusive story can be told just as well as any other tale.
Thank you so very much for considering my comedy/mystery short film, I do not take this opportunity for granted. By submitting, the goal is to share with you my very wild imagination in hopes that someone out there enjoys it. Maybe that ‘someone’ will be you! Again, thank you for this honor and your future feedback, please enjoy Party Animal (2024).
