Nicolas Morganti Patrignani is born in Rimini on december 27th. He spent his childhood and adolescence with his family in San Clemente, a small town in the province of Rimini. Firstborn, with two younger brothers, his father is an employee plumber and his mother is a housewife. In 2015, after graduating from the A.Volta-F.Fellini high school in Riccione, at the age of 18 he decided to follow his dreams and moved to Rome to study directing at Roma Film Academy in Cinecittà (Rome). During his studies, he directed several videos and in 2017 he graduated in Film and Television Direction, making his first short film “Partenze”, with Giorgio Colangeli, Valeria Cavalli e Alessandra Masi.
What is really love? What would you be able to do for love? How far would you be willing to push yourself for love? Through this short film, we have not tried to give answers to these questions but we would like the spectator to ask them and reflect. We have represented a destroyed man with a heart torn by suffering but who, nevertheless, has accepted the will of the person he loves, even if he does not understand the reasons all the way. In addition to the husband-wife relationship, the father-daughter relationship is also treated: the protagonist feels the need to reveal the truth to his daughter but at the same time he feels a terrible fear of losing her too. Two different kinds of love, the same fear of losing them.
