Experiencing Interruptions?

Parastree (Other's Mistress)

Aavya, a married woman in her late thirties, is worried her arranged marriage is falling apart. Her husband, Biswash, an IT engineer, has a disturbing sex fetish, which hasn't helped their loveless union. Aavya works at a local radio station and often wonders how her life ended up this way. Her life changes when a handsome young man named Aayan, whom she met at the gym, starts pursuing her.

Aavya's sex life is as troubled as her marriage. Her husband's fetish involves drugging her, wrapping her in surgical bandages, and pretending she's dead during sex. This leaves her yearning for genuine human warmth. She can't leave her husband without hurting her parents, who believe they found the perfect son-in-law. Despite his issues, Biswash is not entirely a jerk and needs help. The only joy in Aavya's life comes from her radio job, the gym, and her husband's frequent out-of-town work trips.

At the gym, Aavya finds herself drawn to Aayan despite trying to fend off his advances. Aayan flirts with her persistently, making it harder for her to resist. Eventually, they begin an extramarital affair. Although worried about her marriage, Aavya lets Aayan into her life while trying to keep a physical distance.

One day, while her husband is away, Aayan forces his way into her apartment and they become intimate. Biswash unexpectedly returns home and catches them in bed. Heartbroken and enraged, he contemplates killing them both but decides to hatch a revenge plan instead. In a fit of rage, he kills a girl he meets at a bar, dismembers her body, and feeds the pieces to street dogs. He also deletes the CCTV footage linking him to the girl's disappearance.

Meanwhile, Aayan starts ghosting Aavya, making her more desperate. She discovers Aayan is engaged and planning to marry his fiancée and move abroad. Consumed by passion, Aavya begins stalking and blackmailing Aayan, threatening to destroy his relationship. Frustrated, Aayan beats her nearly to death, giving her a head injury.

When Aavya returns home, bloodied and ready to confess her infidelity, Biswash sees an opportunity. He kills her, framing Aayan for the crime. With everyone having seen Aavya enter the apartment building wounded, Biswash's plan works. Aavya dies still in love with Aayan, and Aayan is framed for a murder he didn't commit. Biswash believes he has achieved justice.
