Parallel Universe

Parallel Universe is an eye-popping dome film originated from conspiracy theories and eventually evolved into an ancient Sumerian creation story of a newly forming world. The viewer is taken through another reality all the way to the embrace of the supposed creator, the Annunaki. Reality is relative.

Parallel Universe is directed by Suvi Parrilla, with the team including Heba Rinkinen, Aliisa Koivisto, Jenni Korento, Niina Kahela, Janne Partanen, Mikko Höök, and Tom Lönnström.

Director Biography - Suvi Parrilla

Suvi Parrilla is a Finnish media artist known for her work in video installations and live visual performances. Her artistic style often features psychedelic imagery and themes connected to nature, blending mythology and sensory experiences. She was the director for the 360° dome film *Parallel Universe*, which explores speculative ideas about the origins of humanity, combining art with pseudoscientific theories to create a surreal experience.

Parallel Universe is an interpretation of
an ancient Sumerian story describing
the birth of humanity. There are people
in the world who believe in this creation
story in gods from another planet
who developed humanity with genetic
technology.
We have different truths. In reality,
there are many income angles and it is
an ever-changing entity.
Parallel Universe explores alternative
thinking and brings new realities into
view.
