Director Statement

Hello, I hope you're having a good day today.

I wrote this story as an ode to my father, who suddenly passed away when I was 19. This is my first film, and it truly means the world to me. The parental figures I've had have always beat themselves up for everything, despite them meaning the world to me. This is me trying to tell that story, that maybe, not everything is awful if someone believes in you. And someone cares about the things that have just become basic habits to you. My dad meant a lot to me, and I want every parent to watch this and know that you are loved. And no matter how bad life is treating you right now, no matter how many times you feel beaten down, someone thinks you're as strong, courageous, helpful, caring and loving as Superman.
