Director Statement

If you hear old-school hip hop a block away and then spot a man alternately dancing and climbing an 18 foot ladder to paint a mural, you have just encountered Neo Medina. His style is kinetic and energizes anyone lucky enough to be in his radius.
Neo's charisma and talent are the fire that has lit up this town of 75,000 in Northeast Wisconsin. As a filmmaker, when I think about what I'd like to share with others, it's a gift to just open my eyes and see the amazing commitment of Neo, the students and community that painted this beautiful mural. And a privilege to be able to collaborate with everyone involved.
