A New York City-born son of Cuban and Sicilian heritage, Len Borruso is a graduate of the MFA Directing program at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. His most recent films include, "Anger", "Life with Dan" and "Moondog".
If you hear old-school hip hop a block away and then spot a man alternately dancing and climbing an 18 foot ladder to paint a mural, you have just encountered Irineo Medina. His style is kinetic and energizes anyone lucky enough to catch him doing his thing. However, this mesmerizing performance is also grounded in years of study, practice, community involvement and personal philosophy. To make a film about Irineo, you just have to be ready to keep up.
