Skya Theobald is an award-winning writer, director and actress who grew up on Long Island, New York, and is studying at Stanford University. Her one act plays, “At The Mathews, “Her Train,” and “All For One and One For All” have been finalists at the LIC One Act Festival where she was awarded Best Director for "All For One and One For All." Her recent short film “Make Room" has received multiple awards at festivals around the world, including Best Short Film at the International World Photography Awards and Best Indie Short Film at the Immagina Florence Film Festival. Her short film, “Blue Handprints” was awarded Best Film at the Stanford Poetry into Film Festival and Best Micro-Short at the International World Photography Awards. Her screenplay “Caramel Harbor” received an Honorable Mention in the Scout Film Festival Emerging Filmmakers Grant.
