Director Statement

PROMETHEUS 3000 was a one-month production experiment that became my first project I created as a student at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, in the Digital Arts Studio.

The themes of the film revolve around the human body, mind, and their decay in the context of eternity. Inspiration for the name came from the Greek myth of Prometheus that tells a story about a man forsaken to take punishment for eternity. In a similar way, the protagonist of my film is forsaken to live forever, which in itself becomes an existential punishment.
