I have been passionate about black and white photography for a long time and the aesthetics of the old black and white cinema are close to me. I chose this color scheme because of the special atmosphere of the image.
Since the film "The Overcoat" is a film adaptation of the story of the 19th century, I wanted to convey the spirit of antiquity in the image. The photofilm style was chosen as an experiment. This style - stop-motion animation is somewhat reminiscent of old tape video and refers to the previous era of cinema and photography.
Each frame was retouched, the effects were applied frame by frame. It was very difficult, but so interesting. I am satisfied with my decision and the result - the experiment was a success!
